About the Business
Nights in Iron is a family owned and run business based in rural Somerset. In the early 90's we had the idea to start making hand made iron beds at our forge to compliment the iron furniture we were already making. Like our other work we designed our iron beds to be elegant and simple, and as you would expect from blacksmiths, we over engineered them for lasting strength and sturdiness. We didn't want our beds to be flimsy and rattle like so many other iron beds we saw and still see today in the high street and for sale online.
Since then we have added to our iron bed range and word has spread, with customers buying a bed for themselves, then coming back for their children and telling their friends who have told their friends. Everyone who chooses one of our handmade iron beds does so because they know it will look fantastic in their bedroom, will never date and never break.
